This truth was illustrated most recently in Valentino's costumes for the New York City Ballet, which debuted at the organization's Fall Gala. The iconic designer came out of retirement to handcraft 16 gorgeous pieces, including bubble tutus and ball gowns, accented by bold red and pink pointe shoes.
